Guide for purchasing devices
UnSpot is designed for the iOS operating system and runs on iPad with a minimal set of options.
When choosing a device, consider the following criteria:
- The possibility of Wi-Fi connection,
- iPad’s diagonal (9.7 or 10.2 inches).
- You can use any internal memory capacity iPad, we recommend buying at least 32 GB version.
- Such feature as SIM card support is not necessary for UnSpot operation.
The best devices to meet these requirements are iPad 6th Gen of 2018 and iPad 7th Gen of 2019.
You can purchase these devices either at your local chain retailers, or directly from the Apple manufacturer, as well as from authorised Apple resellers.
Please note that the choice of device is not limited to buying a new iPad. You can find a used tablet as well.
The cost of the new device of mentioned above configuration:
- $ 340 for iPad 6.
- $ 450 for iPad 7.
- You can buy a used device from $ 240 depending on the region of sale.
Please make sure that the device diagonal is the same as the one of the holder.
For example, when buying an iPad 6 of 2018 that has a 9.7 ” diagonal, you should choose holders designed for the device of such diagonal.
Also, when choosing a device, it is important to pay attention to its color: it must match the color of the holder you have chosen.
For example, a black iPad will look most advantageous in a black holder.
