UnSpot has a feature to display available amenities both on the desk and in the meeting room. This allows users to familiarize themselves in advance with the availability of the necessary amenities to choose a comfortable place to work or hold meetings.

1. Adding amenities

In order for a user to see the availability of amenities when booking, a list of available amenities must be created and added to the desk or meeting room.

  1. Go to Manage > Workspace management > Amenities > Click Add Amenity
  2. In the pop-up window, enter a name and select the type of Amenities where it will be used (desk or meeting room)
  3. Click “Add Amenity” and the amenities will appear in the Amenities list

To attach amenities to a meeting room, go to edit meeting room, select the desired amenities and save the setup.

To attach amenities to a desk, go to the space map, select the desk, add the existing amenities and save.

After that, the added amenities will be displayed in the information when you hover over the desk or meeting room.

2. Editing and deleting amenities

General customization:

You can update the name of amenities if it has been replaced, for example, with a newer one to avoid having to re-link to desks and meeting rooms, or remove irrelevant amenities via a shared amenities list across the entire UnSpot system.

  • To Edit, go to Manage > Workspace management > Amenities > Click Edit. Make your changes and click Save.
Important: You cannot change the amenities type while editing.
  • To Delete, go to Manage > Workspace management > Amenities > Click Remove and confirm the deletion.

Personal Customization:

You can also edit or remove amenities from a meeting room or a specific desk, leaving that amenities for the rest of the desks and meeting rooms in the UnSpot system.

  • To Edit amenities in a Meeting Room, go to Manage > Workspace management > Select a specific meeting room > Edit > Customize the amenities for that meeting room > Save
  • To Edit amenities on a Desk, go to Office Map > Edit > Select a desk > Customize the amenities for that desk > Save the setup and the office map
