Manage statuses in the schedule
Work statuses show in the schedule where and how an employee works when they are not in the office. Besides the built-in statuses you can create your own — they will appear for users when they pick a status for the day. The section lives in Administration → Company settings → Work statuses. The tab is visible only when the Colleagues’ work schedule module is enabled.
Status groups
Custom statuses belong to one of two groups: Status group “Remote” and Status group “Not working”. The group defines how the status is treated in the schedule and reports: “remote” employees keep working (their assigned desks become available to colleagues), “not working” employees are absent.
Creating and editing a status
Click “+” in the required group to create a status, or click an existing one to edit. Form fields:
- status type — Remote / Not working;
- Full title — shown in the status picker;
- Short title — up to 6 characters, shown in schedule cells and reports;
- colour — used to highlight the status in the schedule.
Schedule settings
The same page contains the Schedule settings block with two toggles:
- “Activate the notification about the planning of the next week” — on Fridays employees get a reminder to fill in their schedule;
- “Disable schedule template” — employees fill in every week manually, without template autofill.
Deleting a status
When you delete a status the system warns you that employees’ schedule templates will stop using it. Values already recorded in past periods remain in reports.
